There are some small islands just to the north of the island which are rich in wildlife - Bird Island, Red Head Island, Rabbit Island, Lobster Island, Exchange Island and Hell’s Gate. Eco-tours are available - The Frigate Bird Sanctuary on Barbuda, plus Mangrove swamps, birdwatching and reef snorkeling. You can also hunt with a licence.
