About Barbados

The island is only 21 miles long and 14 miles wide. It has many acres of sugarcane on the interior and the beautiful white sanded beaches on the west (The Caribbean side). The east side has the surf from the Atlantic.
The food of the Bajan people has rice, peas, beans and okra as the main stays. Fish and meat stews are popular and the seafood can include dolphinfish, snapper, and the very popular flying fish.
Drinks include Banks beer, Mount Gay rum, mauby.
